Role and Responsibilities

As a Customer Support Clerk, you are the first point of contact for customers and play a vital role in creating a positive shopping experience. You will provide helpful, friendly service, maintain an organized store front, and work as part of a collaborative team to support store efficiency and customer satisfaction.

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers and offering assistance during checkout.
• Bag groceries neatly and carefully to protect items and enhance customer convenience.
• Provide directions or information to customers and connect them with the appropriate departments or associates.
• Collect and organize carts and baskets from parking lots and entrances to ensure availability and orderliness.
• Keep the front-end area clean, tidy, and presentable for customers at all times.
• Support store operations by performing light restocking, price checks, and product returns to the correct shelves.
• Collaborate with fellow associates across departments to maintain smooth day-to-day operations.
• Perform additional tasks as needed to ensure a safe, efficient, and welcoming shopping environment.

• Ability to resolve customer needs or concerns promptly and professionally.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail, grocery, or customer service is helpful but not required.
• Basic knowledge of store procedures, safety practices, and product handling is an advantage.
