Pallet Jack Operator

As a Distribution Center Receiver, you will be at the forefront of maintaining accuracy, security, and efficiency in the receiving operations crucial for the effective movement of products throughout the supply chain.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Execute functions involving receiving and putting away products, including unloading shipments, confirming using RF technology, staging items, managing cross-dock processes, and selecting flow-through merchandise.
• Be on time at the work station, dressed professionally, and ready for all scheduled shifts.
• Adhere to OSHA and Whole Foods standards when using a powered pallet jack or forklift.
• Maintain a workplace that is safe, clean, and hazard-free.
• Ensure strict compliance with OSHA and facility safety regulations.
• Immediately report any accidents or injuries to the Team Leader or Facility Leadership.
• Receive and check truck deliveries, compare against the bill of lading, enter into the warehouse management system, and stage for storage allocation.
• Assess inbound products to verify compliance with food safety regulations.
• Properly tag items for storage after verification.
• Implement storage procedures as needed and maintain all equipment involved in the task.
• Precisely handle the intake, arrangement, and selection of products in transit.
• Properly sort and organize cross-dock materials upon arrival.
• Maintain clear and organized areas for receiving goods, recyclables, and trash.
• Load reusable materials and other products onto trucks for transport.
• Accurately complete all inbound paperwork.
• Attend all team and facility meetings as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of experience in receiving operations.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly pay ranges from $22.00 to $39.60, depending on experience.
• Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, store discounts, paid time off, and participation in additional benefit programs.
• Eligibility for Whole Benefits is determined by the plan in effect at the time of hire.
