Retail Fulfillment Specialist

As a Distribution Center Receiver, you will be instrumental in upholding accuracy, safety, and efficiency in the receiving operations that are essential for the effective movement of products across the supply chain.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Manage operations related to receiving and storing merchandise, such as unloading shipments, verifying through RF scans, storing products in assigned areas, handling cross-dock logistics, and selecting flow-through items.
• Be punctual at the work station, dressed professionally, and prepared for all scheduled shifts.
• Comply with OSHA and Whole Foods regulations when operating a powered pallet jack or forklift.
• Maintain a safe, neat, and organized workspace at all times.
• Adhere to safety guidelines established by OSHA and the facility.
• Immediately report any accidents or injuries to the Team Leader or Facility Leadership.
• Receive and inspect incoming truck shipments, verify accuracy against the bill of lading, document in the warehouse management system, and prepare for storage placement.
• Ensure all inbound items meet the necessary food safety requirements.
• Properly tag products for placement after verification.
• Perform putaway duties as required and maintain all relevant equipment.
• Accurately manage the reception, staging, and picking of products in continuous flow.
• Correctly stage all cross-dock items upon arrival.
• Keep designated areas for receiving items, recyclables, and trash free from obstructions.
• Load recyclable and other materials onto trucks for shipping.
• Carefully complete all inbound paperwork.
• Attend all team and facility meetings as required.

• Demonstrated responsibility and accountability in task completion.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in completing paperwork.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of experience in receiving operations.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly pay ranges from $22.00 to $39.60, depending on experience.
• Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, store discounts, paid time off, and participation in additional benefit programs.
• Eligibility for full benefits is determined by the plan in effect at the date of hire.
