Job Summary of Pharmacy Operations Assistant:

This role supports the pharmacy team by accurately preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing exceptional customer service. The technician works under the supervision of pharmacists to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Pharmacy Operations Assistant:

• Assist pharmacists in adhering to state and federal regulations when preparing, dispensing, and distributing prescription medications.
• Monitor inventory by procuring, storing, and tracking pharmaceutical supplies and medicines.
• Execute prescription orders accurately through the operation of pharmacy software tools.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers, answering questions and guiding them as needed.
• Foster a clean, well-managed, and secure pharmacy environment.
• Aid pharmacy employees in managing administrative responsibilities and adhering to compliance documentation procedures.
• Stay in line with the company's policies and safety protocols for a secure workplace.

Qualifications and Experience of Pharmacy Operations Assistant:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician with a legitimate certification recognized in the state of service.
• Experience in a retail pharmacy environment is a plus.
• Meticulous observation of details and facility in following precise procedures.
• Exhibits exceptional customer service acumen and adeptness in communication skills.
• Opeess to working unconventional hours, which may involve weekends and holidays.
