Job Summary of Sub Shop Associate:

As a Sub Shop Associate, your responsibilities include serving customers attentively, fulfilling orders to meet their preferences, and upholding cleanliness and organization in your work station to guarantee smooth operations and high-quality products.

Responsibilities of Sub Shop Associate:

• When you're at the deli counter, make sure to slice, cut, and weigh the products with politeness while preparing orders that meet the customer's expectations.
• Make sandwiches for customers in a polite way to meet their expectations.
• Ensure the preparation area is organized and stocked consistently.
• Maintain product freshness through effective coding and regular rotation, ensuring that expired items are promptly removed each day.
• Ensure that all items are labeled with clear and accurate prices as outlined in the pricing guide.
• Keep up with the introduction of fresh products and exclusive promotions on a regular basis.
• Advertise the latest additions and exclusive promotions.
• Please inform the manager about any instances of temperature malfunctions in the storage areas and cases.
• Adhere to the guidelines and protocols set in place for the department.
• Adhere to the company's attire guidelines to ensure a professional and tidy look.
• Welcome all patrons and demonstrate attentiveness to their needs.
• Follow all regulations outlined in the official Employee Handbook of the organization.
• Adhere to a consistent schedule for cleaning and disinfecting as required by the health guidelines at the store, as well as local and state regulations.
• Help with the cooking process.

Qualifications of Sub Shop Associate:

• Must have strong communication skills for dealing with customers.
• Must have math skills for weighing and pricing of products.
• Must have dexterity in hands to enable slicing and preparing of deli products.
• Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds up to twenty percent (20%) of the time.
