Job Summary of Baker:

This position focuses on preparing high - quality bakery products while ensuring freshness, safety, and excellent guest service. The role requires following recipes, maintaining production standards, and creating baked goods that enhance both everyday and special occasions for guests.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Baker:

• Prepare bakery and pastry items by following recipes and production lists.
• Ensure freshness and quality while handling and rotating products properly.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized prep areas, coolers, freezers, and storage.
• Provide excellent guest service, including assisting with orders and inquiries.
• Monitor stock levels and maintain adequate product availability throughout the day.
• Maintain food safety logs and meet production expectations at designated times.
• Collaborate with bakery associates to achieve department goals.
• Support general bakery operations and assist team members as needed.

Qualifications and Experience of Baker:

• Experience in baking or food service preferred.
• Strong customer service and problem - solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards and ability to operate bakery equipment.
• Understanding of retail food operations and perishable product handling.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 60 pounds, and work around machinery.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, holidays, and occasional evening or overnight shifts.
