Bakery Prep Associate

Job Summary of Bakery Prep Associate:

In charge of embellishing any assigned cakes, the Bakery Prep Associate carries the responsibility of crafting, beautifying, and assembling cakes, pastries, and other baked delicacies that are visually appealing and of superior quality as per the preferences of clients and the regulations of the company. This role involves the preparation of frosting, fondant, and other adornments, the execution of imaginative designs, and the assurance that the products are fresh, appealing, and primed for purchase or collection

Responsibilities of Bakery Prep Associate:

• Maintain presentable and adequately filled shelves.
• Control freshness by coding all products and pulling out-of-code merchandise daily.
• Wrap, package, and price all products accurately and legibly.
• Maintain the regular cleaning and sanitation program established by company policies.
• Maintain good customer relations by providing prompt and courteous customer service.
• Greet all customers and be observant to your surroundings.
• To ensure all cake orders are completed to the customer's satisfaction.
• Abid by all company policies as stated in the Employee Handbook.
• Answer phones and take special orders.
• Assist in baking of products when needed.

Qualifications of Bakery Prep Associate:

• Strong communication capabilities are essential for offering satisfactory customer service.
• Skilled manipulation of objects with the hands is required for the wrapping, packaging, and ornamentation of products.
• Properly identifying and pricing products requires proficiency in reading and writing.
• Experience in cake embellishment is necessary.
• Must have the strength to lift objects up to fifty (50) pounds when the situation calls for it.
