Role and Responsibilities:

The Retail Grocery Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining clean, organized, and fully stocked departments while delivering friendly and efficient service. Key responsibilities include:

• Greet customers warmly and assist them professionally, creating a welcoming shopping environment.
• Provide product recommendations to enhance the customer experience.
• Stock, rotate, and manage grocery, general merchandise, dairy, and frozen products to ensure freshness and proper date control.
• Efficiently replenish shelves while reducing waste and managing supply costs.
• Operate department tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Help receive vendor shipments and unload trucks in a timely manner.
• Monitor for theft, shoplifting, unauthorized discounts, or property damage, and report concerns to management promptly.
• Follow all company policies and procedures related to operations and customer service.

Qualifications:

• Meet minimum age requirements in accordance with company policy and legal standards.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Authorization to work in the United States or eligibility to obtain authorization.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Preferred: Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and accountability.
