The primary responsibility of this job is to support the deli's overnight operations by preparing, stocking, and managing fresh food options, ensuring that everything is clean and well-organized. Success in this role requires meticulous attention to detail, a strong awareness of food safety protocols, and a firm commitment to offering high-quality food products to customers daily. Job Duties and Responsibilities of Night Stocker:

• Set up and store deli goods for the following business day, ensuring they meet freshness and quality criteria.
• Precisely slice meats and cheeses, wrap them securely, and ensure accurate product labeling.
• Ensure that the work area is kept clean and sanitized, such as the food preparation stations and the display counters.
• Verify the expiration dates of products, change the sequence of stock, and eliminate any items that are not marketable.
• Comply with all sanitation and store policy measures while working night shifts.
• Perform tasks effectively, whether working independently or collaborating with the night crew.
• Aid in organizing presentations and getting the department ready for the morning opening.

Qualifications and Experience of Night Stocker:

• Experience in a deli, preparing food, or working in retail is preferred although it is not a prerequisite.
• Capable of fulfilling overnight shifts, weekends, and holiday requirements as per the schedule.
• Knowledge of essential standards for food sanitation and safety.
• Keen eye for specifics and adept at arranging tasks systematically.
• Adaptable to a high-energy workplace and able to carry out tasks that require physical exertion.
• A high school diploma or a similar qualification is desired.
