Role and Responsibilities:

As a Retail Seafood Associate, you will be instrumental in building customer trust by delivering friendly service, maintaining high department standards, and ensuring a safe, inviting environment. Your responsibilities include:

• Warmly greet, assist, and thank customers with professionalism and courtesy.
• Offer product recommendations to improve customer satisfaction and engagement.
• Stock, rotate, and monitor seafood products to ensure freshness and accurate date control.
• Use supplies efficiently to reduce waste and manage costs effectively.
• Operate seafood tools and equipment safely in compliance with company standards.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard-free workspace; promptly report safety or equipment concerns to management.
• Immediately report theft, shoplifting, unauthorized discounts, or any policy violations to management.
• Carry out additional job-related tasks as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Capability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Authorization to work in the United States or eligibility to obtain authorization.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Commitment to following all company policies and procedures.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to perform duties related to stocking, rotating, and maintaining seafood displays.
