Billing Clerk

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Billing Clerk, you will manage the cash register and ensure accuracy in transaction processing while providing high-quality service to customers. You will support the team in maintaining organized operations and meeting store standards.

• Assume responsibility for tasks during opening, mid-shifts, and closing periods, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Double-check signage and pricing for accuracy.
• Demonstrate mastery of the Front-End Code Book and PLUs, applying strong math skills, communication abilities, and team collaboration.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with colleagues, customers, and vendors.
• Maintain high-quality customer service interactions to meet service standards.
• Follow procedures accurately while applying strong time management and organizational skills.
• Work effectively in moist and cold environments.
• Adapt to diverse schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Operate tools and equipment such as box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
• Assist customers with completing transactions, operate cash registers to maintain organized cash flow, and pack purchased items efficiently.

• Competence in operating tools and heavy equipment as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous retail experience is an asset but not required.
