Job Summary of Retail Clerk:

This role supports the online pickup service by accurately shopping customer orders and delivering them curbside. It requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a customer-first mindset. The position ensures a seamless and satisfying experience for customers choosing to shop online and pick up in store.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Retail Clerk:

• Construct customer requests as outlined in the provided lists and requirements.
• Assure the exactness, freshness, and proper upkeep of perishable and non-perishable items.
• Safely transport ready orders to the specified pickup area and lend a hand in loading merchandise into customer vehicles.
• Sustain open and effective communication with both team members and customers to enable the smooth execution of orders.
• Adhere to all food safety and company rules by maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Assist with the execution of additional store functions as necessary during lulls in activity.

Qualifications and Experience of Retail Clerk:

• While it is recommended, prior involvement in retail or order processing is not compulsory.
• Keen eye for detail and a steadfast commitment to customer delight.
• Aptitude for securely carrying and moving grocery bags and boxes.
• The art of conveying messages successfully and a mindset geared towards team cooperation.
• Being open to the idea of working weekends and holidays as part of a flexible schedule.
• The preferred educational requirement is a high school diploma or its equivalent.
