Meat Stock Manager

Job Summary of Meat Stock Manager:

Meat Stock Manager are responsible for managing department inventory, merchandising, labor, safety, and other operational processes.They are to schedule associates, prepare cutting lists, and process meat to maximize sales and gross profit. Meat managers are also to ensure the correct ordering, receiving, unloading, storage, and rotation of merchandise and displays as well as any other tasks assigned. Managers are to ensure that all associates are properly trained and supervised and to ensure that all associates maintain department cleanliness and safety at all times.

Responsibilities of Meat Stock Manager:

• Direct the everyday running of the meat department
• Administer the procedures involved in placing orders, receiving products, managing inventory, and overseeing stock rotation protocols
• Administer, train, arrange timetables, and assess the competency of meat department workers
• Safeguard a work environment that is organized, safe, and free from clutter
• Manage inventory inspections and monitor waste tracing activities
