Role and Responsibilities:
You will deliver top-notch customer service and efficiently manage meat department inventory and presentation. Your role includes maintaining food safety and cleanliness while supporting team functions in a fast-paced environment.
- Deliver top-notch customer service and food promptly and cheerfully.
- Stock, store, and organize goods according to company guidelines.
- Carry out specified recipes, safety practices, and policies in packaging, displaying, and presenting food items.
- Conduct temperature assessments and monitor product conditions to maintain freshness and safety protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness of sales areas, inventory spaces, and cooling units to prevent accidents and ensure a well-ordered setting.
- Follow health and company guidelines for washing and sanitizing kitchen utensils and equipment.
- Ensure signage is maintained, products are rotated regularly, freshness is upheld, and merchandise space is allocated correctly.
- Safely handle production equipment, cleaning solutions, and sharp tools.
- Operate the cash register according to company procedures.
- Support and enhance team activities through cooperative work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Eagerness to contribute on weekends and holidays.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for engaging with clients and colleagues.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding product labels, shelf tags, training materials, and bulletins.
- Exceptional multitasking abilities, prioritizing tasks, and fostering a cohesive team atmosphere.
- Proficient in the safe use of cleaning agents, sharp tools, and manufacturing machinery.
- Ownership mentality with follow-through on tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in food preparation or grocery retail.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and labor regulations.
- Demonstrated integrity and reliability in previous roles.
- Skilled in managing customer interactions efficiently and delivering quality service.
