As an Overnight Grocery Clerk, your duties will involve unloading stock from either an l-cart or pallet and placing it in the correct shelf location using the provided box codes until the assigned area is fully stocked. Within the Overnight Grocery Clerk role, you will be responsible for stocking a range of products, including food items, and will be instrumental in maintaining the functionality of our store and positively impacting the community we serve. Responsibilities of Overnight Grocery Clerk:

• Your role will involve the stocking of shelves with an assortment of goods, which could encompass edible products.
• Meet the expectation of processing 70 boxes in a single hour
• Organize and relocate leftover merchandise and rubbish to the appropriate zones in the backroom.
• Partner with supervisors to facilitate timely restocking of designated sections.
• Assistance sought in operating a cardboard baler to produce a bale.
• Harness the capabilities of equipment such as electric pallet movers and forklifts
• Ensure a positive and amicable approach when communicating with clients.
• Work overnight shifts.

Qualifications of Overnight Grocery Clerk:

• You have adequate knowledge of computer systems and is comfortable using them.
• You are process driven and has ability to follow procedures in an organized and efficient way.
• Ability to stay calm while working in a fast-paced environment.
• Desire to work with customers on a consistent basis.
• You have the ability to lift up to 50lb boxes.
• The ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product.
• The ability to stand for long periods of time.
