Job Summary of Grocery Clerk:

Reporting to the Manager on Duty, you will help maintain stocked, organized, and visually appealing grocery aisles while assisting front - end personnel with bagging and transporting groceries for customers.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Grocery Clerk:

• Unpack, stock, restock, and face grocery products according to department standards.
• Assist front - end staff with bagging groceries and transporting items to customers’ vehicles as needed.
• Operate department equipment safely, including carts, balers, ladders, box cutters, and non - powered pallet jacks.
• Follow standard operating procedures, quality requirements, and safety policies.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas in the grocery department.
• Meet department productivity goals and contribute to a positive team environment.

Qualifications and Experience of Grocery Clerk:

• Customer service experience, preferably in a retail or grocery environment.
• Ability to perform front - end duties within a retail/grocery environment.
• Self - directed, results - oriented, and able to project a positive business image.
• Strong attention to detail and follow - through skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime.
• Must be at least 18 years old to operate certain department equipment.
