Deli Inventory Clerk

Job Summary of Deli Inventory Clerk:

Deli Inventory Clerk are responsible for preparing baked goods and displaying said goods and deli items.Deli Inventory Clerk will also operate mixers, ovens, scales, slicers, fryers, as well as wrap and price items within the deli-bakery department.They will ice pastries, decorate cakes; fill displays while also assisting customers with purchases and any other tasks assigned by management.Deli Inventory Clerk are responsible for maintaining a clean work area and following all safety rules set in place by the store.

Responsibilities of Deli Inventory Clerk:

• Create packages of deli meats, cheeses, and bakery items by slicing and arranging them appropriately
• Provide guidance to clients as they place orders, make product decisions, and request any special accommodations
• Employ safe practices when handling deli slicers, ovens, and additional bakery machinery
• Safeguard product quality by consistently monitoring freshness and rotating stock appropriately
• Offer aid in baking, frosting, or enhancing baked items by decorating them when required
