The Closer aids store leadership by ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, controlling expenses, and supervising tasks associated with backroom operations and merchandise display.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Store Lead:

• Take on the responsibilities of store management during the closing shift as necessary.
• Implement and sustain a culture of excellence in food safety and sanitation by following federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies.
• Discover cost-saving techniques by maximizing the efficiency of supplies and maintenance of equipment.
• Facilitate product rotation and boost associate productivity by maintaining a well-organized grocery backroom.
• Manage and implement the company's signage strategy, coordinate weekly merchandise distribution, handle seasonal product rotations, restock shelves, and organize orders for promotional items.
• Maintain a reassuring and safeguarded environment for patrons and associates as the day comes to a close.

Qualifications and Experience of Store Lead:

• The basic qualification is a high school diploma, with an inclination towards having completed some college coursework.
• It is preferred that applicants have 2 to 4 years of experience managing grocery retail operations.
• Strong at fostering coections, making informed decisions, distributing tasks, guiding a team, and mediating conflicts proficiently.
• Excel at being able to work evenings and other varied hours.
