Job Title: Fuel Center Clerk

Position Summary:
The Fuel Center Clerk provides friendly and efficient customer service while assisting at the fuel center. This role is responsible for operating the cash register, maintaining a clean and safe environment, monitoring compliance requirements, and ensuring customers have a positive experience. The clerk will also handle reporting duties and stock recovery while demonstrating Kroger's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers promptly and courteously at the fuel center.
• Operate the cash register accurately, handling all transactions in line with company policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fuel center, including the sales area and fueling stations.
• Recover stock, replenish merchandise, and ensure displays are neat and accessible.
• Complete incident and security reports as required.
• Maintain accurate compliance documentation for fuel center operations.
• Follow all safety standards and procedures to create a safe environment for customers and associates.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic math and cash handling accuracy.
• Ability to work in outdoor environments and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Attention to detail and ability to complete reports and documentation accurately.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail, fuel center, or cashier roles.
• Knowledge of safety and compliance standards in fuel or retail environments.
