Joining Winn-Dixie as a Grocery Stocker means playing a significant part in delivering exceptional customer service. Your role will involve greeting, aiding, and thanking customers promptly, politely, and warmly, recording sales accurately, and operating cashier equipment precisely while acknowledging all tender types. Responsibilities also include maintaining well-stocked and orderly grocery, general merchandise, dairy, and frozen food sections, ensuring product freshness, and assisting with vendor delivery reception and unloading. Immediate positions open.

Responsibilities of Grocery Stocker:

• Pay continuous attention to customer needs while delivering top-notch service.
• Salute, aid, and show appreciation to clients in a respectful and affable manner.
• Offer insights into potential products that could be beneficial based on the context.
• Maintain the stock and rotation of products in the department to retain their freshness and observe correct date management, alongside employing supplies effectively to reduce unnecessary discard.
• Adhere to safety protocols when using equipment and tools within the department.
• Support in the acceptance of vendor goods and quickly unloading deliveries from trucks.
• Supervise checkout lanes to meet service expectations and uphold accurate sales documentation.
• Make sure to return the carts to the cart corral when you're done.
• Bring to the attention of management any occurrences of staff stealing, shoplifting, unauthorized markdowns, property damage, or actions that are illegal or breach company policies.
• Undertake tasks beyond regular job responsibilities as designated.

Qualifications of Grocery Stocker:

• Meet legal and company policy age requirements to perform job functions.
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
