Meat Team Member

Company Overview:

Kroger is seeking a Meat Team Member to join our store team. In this role, you will prepare and display meat items for sale in accordance with company standards and policies, while providing excellent customer service. Role and Responsibilities:

As a Meat Team Member, you will contribute to the success of the department and the satisfaction of our customers. Your responsibilities include:

• Prepare, cut, wrap, and display meat items for sale according to company standards and food safety policies.
• Ensure products are fresh, properly labeled, and attractively merchandised.
• Wait on customers, answer questions, and provide knowledgeable assistance regarding meat selections.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and quality assurance guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, equipment, and displays.
• Support department goals and collaborate with team members to achieve sales and service standards.
• Demonstrate Kroger's core values in all customer and associate interactions.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical ability to stand, lift, and handle meat products as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in meat cutting, food preparation, or retail grocery.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and meat handling procedures.
• Bilingual or multilingual communication skills.
