Kroger is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our High-Volume Pharmacy Fulfillment Center team. In this role, you will play an essential part in supporting pharmacy operations by accurately filling prescriptions, operating automated equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Role and Responsibilities:
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will support pharmacists and pharmacy operations in a high-volume environment. Your responsibilities include:
- Complete automation canister product replenishments.
- Unpack and sort incoming deliveries of pharmacy products.
- Prepare totes and sort orders for store delivery.
- Pack individual orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare orders for pharmacist review using manual and automated processes.
- Perform tasks associated with general production in the fulfillment center.
- Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations and company privacy policies.
- Comply with all sanitation, safety regulations, and programs, identifying unsafe conditions and notifying management.
- Maintain national and/or state registration, certification, or license as required.
- Follow local, state, and federal regulations; report illegal activity including theft, robbery, or fraud.
Required Skills and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician credential.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion.
- Willingness and ability to perform all essential job functions and tasks of a Pharmacy Technician.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting.
