Job Summary of Grocery Stock Associate:

Operating within the central part of the store, the Grocery Stock Associate is tasked with the organization of goods, restocking of shelves, presenting items in an appealing manner, and delivering excellent customer care focused on the selection of goods like snacks, drinks, canned foods, and household merchandise.

Responsibilities of Grocery Stock Associate:

• Adhere to the Center Store training manual recommendations for cutting, marking, and arranging products in stock.
• Provide a warm and helpful approach to customers seeking assistance in locating items in a pleasant and respectful manner.
• Uphold productivity at or higher than what is considered satisfactory by the company.

Qualification of Grocery Stock Associate:

• Effective communication, customer support, and sales expertise are imperative. Proficiency in interpersonal relations and a preference for collaborative work environments are required.
• Displaying proficiency and openness to understand a range of duties and technical demands for the position. Adhering to the necessary age criteria is a requirement.

Physical Requirements of Grocery Stock Associate:

• Tasks may involve lifting items up to 20 lbs. regularly, including overhead lifting, and up to 60 lbs. occasionally. Pushing and pulling activities may require exerting force on objects weighing up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Meet the accepted volume/activity norms.
• Stay on your feet constantly, either remaining stationary or in motion.
• Regularly engaging in the act of reaching, holding, and raising individual merchandise below the waistline or above the shoulders.
• Repeatedly performing tasks that involve bending, kneeling, and squatting.
• Demonstrate proficiency in dealing with various substances linked to cleaning products, packaging supplies, and edibles.
• Can tolerate exposure to severe heat or cold for up to 20 minutes while working.
• Ability to use computers, calculators and communication systems required to perform the job functions.

• Maintain appropriate temperature levels in display cases, storage facilities, and products.
• Promote compliance with company safety standards. Inform authorities about any essential maintenance or repairs required for equipment
• Execute all supplementary obligations as directed.
