Job Summary of Retail Team Assistant:

Retail Team Assistant are required to complete management-assigned duties, which could consist of stocking and organizing a store section, providing carry-out services, and maintaining the store's cleanliness.Retail Team Assistant assists in the daily operations of a store or business by helping customers, organizing product displays, and efficiently performing routine tasks.

Qualification of Retail Team Assistant:

• Capability to read, write, and interact in English with both the general public and peers in the workplace.
• Interpret basic guidelines, item specifications, cost codes, shelf tags, brief messages, and office communications with clarity.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Convey information with clarity and precision in interactions with individuals and small groups within the workplace.
• Utilize everyday reasoning to complete detailed yet uncomplicated written or oral guidelines.
• The position requires consistent lifting and/or moving of items that are 25 pounds, with frequent handling of objects up to 45 pounds, and occasional tasks involving items weighing 60 pounds.
• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate

Responsibilities of Retail Team Assistant:

• Be responsible for a designated store area and replenish products using appropriate tools (excluding machinery)
• Ensures accurate pricing of items, verifies the dates on products for correct rotation, arranges products on shelves and displays, as well as in refrigerated/freezer units.
• Readies fresh items for purchase according to demand
• Creates promotional exhibits for marketing purposes
• Adheres to the directions of store management by ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are upheld in both indoor and outdoor areas of the store
• Delivers a warm, well-informed, quick, and polite service to customers through furnishing them with up-to-date details about the store and its offerings
• Assisting customers with loading purchased items into their vehicles upon request
• Executes fundamental accounting tasks, such as documenting the loss or damage of products and inventory materials through suitable methodologies
