Night Team Member

Job Summary of Night Team Member:

Responsibilities include supervising the pricing, stocking, and rotation of merchandise in the grocery area, maintaining tidy shelves, keeping products fully stocked, and ensuring they are fresh and appropriately labeled for customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities of Night Team Member:

• Assist in unloading the merchandise.
• Transport stock for storage to stock areas.
• Open cartons and price items (if needed) accurately.
• Keep store shelves fully stocked according to tag allocations.
• Assist in building store displays.
• Keep perishable merchandise rotated and pull out-of-code product as needed.
• Control level of damaged goods.
• Properly present assigned section prior to leaving at the end of scheduled work shift.
• Observe policies and procedures established for each department.
• Greet customers who come into the store and be observant.
• Maintain a neat appearance according to the company's dress code policy.
• Abid by all company policies as stated in the Employee Handbook.
• Maintenance of price and protection program.
• Housekeeping of sales and back room areas.
• Assist with front-end service when needed.

Qualifications of Night Team Member:

• Proficiency in deciphering and transcribing text to effectively mark merchandise, control inventory levels, and manage product rotation.
• Proficiency in handling, transferring, and organizing merchandise in allocated spaces.
• The capability to retrieve and stow goods on the higher shelves within the grocery sections is a necessary competence.
• Physically fit to lift weights of 70 pounds for a portion of the work shift.
• Capability to comply with written and verbal commands.
