• Supporting individuals in selecting wholesome food options by preparing convenient and fresh meals
• Offering exceptional customer service and supervising the correct preparation, packaging, and showcasing of Deli items, while also prioritizing the cleanliness of the Deli department
• Refurbishing, regulating, and altering items and showcases
• Crafting specialized orders and preparing elaborate party trays
• Conducting operations with deli machinery including meat and cheese slicers, ovens, microwaves, cutting tools, scales, and other equipment according to the protocols and standards set by the company
• Preserving a clean, secure, and sanitary environment in the deli area and with equipment necessitates actions like arranging shelves and products, preventing spills on the floors, discarding dangerous debris from the ground, and engaging in sweeping duties
• Recording, assessing, and accepting deliveries to verify the accuracy of shipping, quality control, and temperature requirements

• The requirement is to be capable of remaining on feet continuously for a maximum of 4 hours and a total of 8 hours during one shift.
• Complete routine departmental cleaning duties, ensuring all surfaces are tidy and hygienic through sanitation.
• Monitor the slicer, wrapping, and cooking machinery; aid in the upkeep of all equipment to ensure they operate safely.
• Comply with safety, health, and Weights and Measures guidelines, and acquire and uphold a Food Handlers certification
• Have the capability to function effectively in varying temperature conditions, such as colder storage areas and freezer units.
