Responsibilities of Meat Department Support Manager:
- Partnering with the Meat and Seafood Manager to manage the procurement of meat products effectively
- Skillfully slice, cut, and trim a diverse selection of high-quality departmental meat and seafood products, and ingredients for our convenient meal solutions, while also overseeing product quality levels in line with TFM standards
- Offering a friendly reception to visitors and assisting them proactively by providing accurate and timely information
- Giving recommendations and addressing needs
- Effective oversight of order guides and ordering deadlines plays a vital role in optimizing inventory control and minimizing losses
- Ensuring goods are received and stocked according to rotation standards is essential for effective replenishment procedures
- Motivate, guide, educate, and support team members while they are on duty and engaging with The Fresh Market's internal training platform to offer exceptional guest service in a manner that prioritizes safety and protection
Qualifications of Meat Department Support Manager:
- TFMA certification is a prerequisite for all Meat Department Support Managers at The Fresh Market and must be completed within 90 days of their employment commencement.
- A track record of more than three years working in retail, restaurant, or hospitality settings
- Experience in leadership roles for over a year
- Understanding how to utilize Microsoft Office tools efficiently is beneficial for productivity
- Requirement states that individuals must be at least 18 years old
