Job Summary of Dairy Associate:

A Dairy Associate is tasked with the upkeep of inventory, pricing, and organization of goods within the dairy section. Their duties include ensuring that shelves, refrigerators, and showcases are adequately supplied, neat, and arranged appropriately. This position also involves regularly rotating items to uphold their freshness, inspecting expiry dates, and eliminating expired or spoiled products.

Responsibilities of Dairy Associate:

• Assist in unloading the merchandise.
• Transport stock for storage to stock areas.
• Open cartons and price items (if needed) accurately.
• Keep store shelves fully stocked according to tag allocations.
• Assist in building store displays.
• Keep perishable merchandise rotated and pull out-of-code product as needed.
• Control level of damaged goods.
• Properly present assigned section prior to leaving at the end of scheduled work shift.
• Observe policies and procedures established for each department.
• Greet customers who come into the store and be observant.
• Maintain a neat appearance according to the company's dress code policy.
• Abid by all company policies as stated in the Employee Handbook.
• Maintenance of price and protection program.
• Housekeeping of sales and back room areas.

Qualifications of Dairy Associate:

• Skills to comprehend and compose to effectively label goods, uphold accurate stock quantities, and guarantee the proper circulation of items.
• Capability to move, convey, and position goods in designated locations.
• Capable of hoisting up to 70 pounds for a minimum of 40% of the time.
• Capacity to adhere to both written and spoken directions.
