Role and Responsibilities:

As a Grocery Team Member at Southeastern Grocers, you will play a key role in enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty by delivering exceptional service, maintaining organized operations, and fostering a welcoming environment.

• Actively engage with customers by greeting, assisting, and thanking them warmly and courteously.
• Provide helpful product recommendations to enhance the customer experience.
• Efficiently stock and rotate products in grocery, general merchandise, dairy, and frozen food sections to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
• Utilize department equipment and tools responsibly and safely.
• Assist with receiving vendor merchandise and promptly unload truck deliveries to maintain smooth inventory flow.
• Report any suspicious activities including associate theft, customer shoplifting, and violations of company policy.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Must meet legal and company age requirements for job functions.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively in English.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
• Adherence to all company policies and procedures.
