Job Summary of Stocking Associate:

In this position, the focus is on assisting with the overnight operations of the deli section by preparing, stocking, and overseeing the availability of fresh food offerings, all while maintaining cleanliness and order. Key requirements for this role include a keen eye for detail, a thorough understanding of food safety standards, and a dedication to providing top-tier products to customers regularly. Job Duties and Responsibilities of Stocking Associate:

• Organize and replenish deli products for the next day, upholding standards for freshness and quality.
• Prepare slices of meat and cheese with precision, wrap packages carefully, and correctly mark products with labels.
• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation standards of the work area, including food preparation sections and presentation areas.
• Review the product dates, reorganize the inventory, and dispose of any items that are not suitable for sale.
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and store policies when operating during the night.
• Complete allotted responsibilities with efficacy, either individually or as a vital part of the night team.
• Support in setting up showcases and prepping the area for the begiing of the day.

Qualifications and Experience of Stocking Associate:

• While it is beneficial to have worked in a deli, food preparation, or retail environment before, it is not essential.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays based on the designated roster.
• Grasping the basics of maintaining food safety and sanitation requirements.
• Outstanding precision and capability in organizing effectively.
• Able to excel in a fast-moving environment and execute physically demanding duties.
• Having a high school diploma or an equivalent is advantageous.
