Role and Responsibilities:

As a Warehouse Stocker, you will ensure that the grocery department remains organized, fully stocked, and clean to create a positive and efficient shopping experience for customers. Your key responsibilities include:

• Unload incoming deliveries and move merchandise to assigned storage areas.
• Replenish shelves in alignment with store planograms to ensure accurate product placement.
• Rotate inventory using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
• Label items correctly with pricing and maintain clear, visible signage throughout the store.
• Keep product displays neat, orderly, and visually appealing for customers.
• Monitor stock levels and alert management when replenishment is necessary.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and organize backstock efficiently.
• Remove damaged, expired, or recalled items promptly and accurately.
• Assist customers with questions, locating products, and providing helpful recommendations.
• Maintain safe, clutter-free aisles to ensure a secure shopping environment.
• Stay informed about promotions, seasonal changes, and new product arrivals.
• Clean and sanitize shelves, display areas, and storage sections regularly.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and equipment use.
• Report safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to management immediately.
• Work closely with team members to support smooth store operations.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding inventory and operational needs.

Required Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in retail, grocery, or stocking is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently or collaboratively.
• Basic math skills for pricing, labeling, and inventory management.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Keen attention to detail and the ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
