Job Duties and Responsibilities of Warehouse Material Handler:
- Gather products from warehouse supplies according to specified orders.
- Refer to aisle, slot, and quantity specifications to track down items within the store.
- Stack, categorize, and pack products to shield from harm and ensure secure transit.
- Ensure your workspace is organized and clean in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Provide support in performing cycle counts and ensuring inventory accuracy checks as required.
- Follow safety protocols when using warehouse machinery like forklifts and pallet jacks, especially with certification.
Qualifications and Experience of Warehouse Material Handler:
- Having a high school diploma or an equivalent credential is advantageous.
- While it is beneficial to have worked in a warehouse or inventory role before, it is not a prerequisite.
- Core mathematical and reading proficiencies for interpreting order sheets and markers.
- Proficient in lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds and standing for extended durations.
- Having a keen focus on specifics and effective organizational abilities.
- Possessing a forklift certification is advantageous although not compulsory.
