Responsibilities of Checkout Associate:

• Dedicate consistent focus to addressing customer requirements. Offer greetings, aid, and express gratitude to customers promptly, courteously, and with a friendly demeanor.
• Make sure to accurately document sales by utilizing the scanning technology effectively.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating cashier machinery with precision and speed, identifying various types of payment and delivering accurate change.
• Keep a well-ordered workspace while managing inventory items at the storefront.
• Please bring the carts back to the designated area for shopping cart storage.
• Inform management about any incidents involving employee theft, customer theft, markdowns without authorization, vandalism of company property, or any other unlawful activities that violate company rules.
• Carry out additional tasks as required by the job.

Qualifications of Checkout Associate:

• Meet legal and company policy age requirements to perform job functions.
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
• Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
