Job Duties and Responsibilities of Retail Security Officer:

• Put into practice and sustain asset protection plans to mitigate shrink and uphold safety measures.
• Oversight of store operations is essential in detecting and rectifying theft, fraud, and policy infractions.
• Provide support for inquiries into losses, whether originating from within or outside the entity.
• Collaborate closely with store employees to maintain adherence to safety guidelines and operational standards.
• Show a clear presence to dissuade potential security hazards or dubious activities.
• Act promptly in response to unforeseen incidents and liaise with law enforcement if essential.
• Educate team members on procedures for ensuring safety and preventing theft incidents.
• Keep detailed records of events and ensure the proper upkeep of security reports as mandated.

Qualifications and Experience of Retail Security Officer:
