Job Summary of Bake Off Clerk:

This position supports the daily operations of the bake shop by providing exceptional service, maintaining product quality, and ensuring cleanliness and organization. The role plays an important part in enhancing the in store customer experience by offering fresh baked goods, answering product inquiries, and upholding food safety standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Bake Off Clerk:

• Assist customers by answering questions and helping locate bakery items.
• Prepare, package, and label baked goods in accordance with company guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all work and display areas.
• Ensure all baked products are attractively merchandised and rotated for freshness.
• Follow food safety and handling procedures as required by company policy.
• Support team members and assist with tasks in other departments when needed.
• Report any equipment or product issues to the appropriate team leads or managers.

Qualifications and Experience of Bake Off Clerk:

• Previous customer service or food preparation experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and food safety.
• Willingness to learn and follow company procedures and guidelines.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
