• Maintain a routine of regularly cleaning and sanitizing deli equipment and work surfaces.
• Safely and accurately handle slicers, scales, and rotisserie ovens while operating.
• Guarantee that scale systems are precise to ensure correct pricing and labeling.
• Adhere to all of BJ's guidelines and protocols, ensuring conformity consistently.
• Fulfill additional responsibilities as required, such as aiding in various departments as necessary.
• Consistent and dependable attendance is a necessary aspect of this position.

Qualifications:

• Previous background in working at a deli or food service setting is desired.
• Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in using slicers, scales, and other deli equipment.
• Understanding deli items and adhering to regulations for safe food handling.
• The individual must have reached a minimum age of 18 years.

Environmental Job Conditions:

• Regular standing and walking on solid ground.
• Infrequent instances of bending, reaching, and lifting objects weighing up to 30 pounds (assistance required for heavier items).
• Adapt to different temperature conditions as a result of being in contact with cooling units, stoves, and refrigeration systems.
