Role and Responsibilities:

The Warehouse Order Picker plays a critical role in ensuring online grocery orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. You will select, organize, and prepare products for customer pickup or delivery while maintaining Giant Food’s high standards of quality and freshness.

• Pick and pack online grocery orders with precision while maintaining product freshness and accuracy.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns in a professional manner.
• Choose items according to order specifications, ensuring proper presentation and store standards.
• Prepare and organize orders efficiently to meet scheduled pickup or delivery times.
• Handle product substitutions appropriately and notify customers of any updates when necessary.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies to management.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Assist with general store operations, including restocking shelves, arranging products, and helping customers.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Customer-oriented mindset with a professional and approachable demeanor.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in fulfilling orders.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to support multiple departments and adapt to new tasks as needed.
• Basic computer skills for processing orders and tracking inventory.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask efficiently.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in grocery, retail, or warehouse operations is helpful but not required.
