Job Summary of Meat Processing Attendant:

The Meat Processing Attendant position involves overseeing the processing, cutting, and trimming of meat and seafood to comply with the quality standards established by The Fresh Market and in alignment with guest preferences. You will also play a role in maintaining inventory levels, ensuring pricing accuracy, merchandising effectively, and supporting various operational procedures that necessitate significant attention to detail. Responsibilities of Meat Processing Attendant:

• Stay abreast of the store's products and weekly ad items and work across departments to aid guests in locating products and putting together meal options
• Efficiently manage the slicing, trimming, cutting, and handling of a range of prime meat and seafood products within the department, while supporting the creation of convenient meal options that meet TFM quality standards
• Monitor the thermal readings of incidents, spillovers, and storage sites
• Implement and follow department practices for receiving, stocking, and unloading deliveries of products to maintain their quality and freshness by handling tasks within cases, coolers, freezers, and on the sales floor
• Maintain departmental compliance with safety standards and protocols, emphasizing food safety, as per TFM policies and legal stipulations

Qualifications of Meat Processing Attendant:

• All Meat Processing Attendants must finish their certification using The Fresh Market's internal training system within 90 days of being hired.
• Knowledgeable in the practice of meat cutting for a period of two years or more
• One must be 18 years or older to fulfill the condition
