Night Service Associate

Job Summary of Night Service Associate:

Duties involve managing the pricing, stocking, and rotation of merchandise in the grocery department, ensuring shelves are well-organized, products are consistently available, and labels are accurate to offer customers a satisfactory shopping experience.

Responsibilities of Night Service Associate:

• Please lend a hand in unloading the goods.
• Move inventory to stock locations for storage purposes.
• Unpack boxes and ensure that products are correctly labeled with prices.
• Follow the designated tag allocations when stocking store shelves to keep them full.
• Support in building attractive store exhibits.
• Maintain a system for rotating perishable goods and promptly remove any items that are no longer within their shelf life.
• Handle the amount of substandard products.
• Adequately display the designated section before departing at the end of your scheduled work shift.
• Comply with the specific policies and procedures designated for each department.
• Acknowledge and greet customers entering the store while being vigilant of their movements.
• Stick to the provisions outlined in the company's dress code regulations to convey a neat and well-maintained look.
• - Respect and follow all company policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Implementation of a price maintenance and protection program.
• Organization and maintenance of the sales and back areas.
• Assist with front-end services as and when required.

Qualifications of Night Service Associate:

• Ability to read and write to properly tag merchandise, maintain proper inventory level and ensure rotation of product.
• Ability to unload, transport, and place merchandise in specific areas.
• Must have the ability to retrieve and place merchandise on the top racks in the grocery aisles for proper storage. The top racking process may be 20% of the time working in the aisles during the shift.
• Ability to lift up to seventy (70) pounds at least forty percent (40%) of the time.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
