Responsibilities of Distribution Courier:

• Ensures customers receive quick, effective, and pleasant service by showing care, attentiveness, and patience in every interaction while prioritizing customers as the central focus in the store.
• Guides customers to find products within the store and shares information about the characteristics of the products.
• Makes a genuine effort to remember customers' names and shows attentiveness by addressing them personally.
• Works in partnership with colleagues to ensure customer satisfaction and a friendly work atmosphere.
• Delivers purchased goods to customers, accepts payments, and returns change accordingly.
• Restoring payments and the starting cash balance to the store.
• Regulates the temperature of food and groceries to align with food safety protocols and maintain the quality of products to meet customer expectations.
• Abides by the guidelines set forth by the department and company in terms of personal grooming and dress code.
• Abides by the rules and regulations of the company and adheres to the specific store policies.
• Consistently meets work schedule commitments.

Qualifications of Distribution Courier:

• Specific educational level not stipulated.
• Possessing an unrestricted driver's license issued by the DOT is necessary
• Being 18 years or older is a prerequisite for driving a company vehicle.
• Adept at communication through both verbal and written means, with a talent for navigating interpersonal relationships effectively
• Showing proficiency in establishing rapport and interacting with individuals in a friendly, professional way, having the ability to identify problems, devise and carry out solutions, and the knack for understanding and adhering to verbal or demonstrated instructions

Physical requirements of Distribution Courier:

• Include the ability to see detail at near range with or without correction
• Ability to perform medium work: occasionally lifting or carrying objects of no more than 50 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and lifting/carrying of objects of no more than 25 pounds
• Ability to perform the following physical activities: stooping, kneeling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions, and ability to enter and exit a delivery vehicle many times a day, traverse staircases and other rough terrain to reach delivery destination.
