Job Summary of Retail Operations Manager:
Tasked with upholding store office security and effectively managing cash office funds. Completing front end clerical tasks proficiently and providing top-notch customer service at all times.
Responsibilities of Retail Operations Manager:
- The cash and sales reports should be updated daily, and a weekly summary should be compiled. Deposits are to be made post each shift.
- Examine and restructure the change fund.
- Handle the compilation of bank deposits, ensuring proper documentation and verification of all bank slips.
- Responsible for checking the cashiers' tills at the beginning and end of each shift, as well as during breaks and mealtimes, while abiding by cash control policies.
- Ensure that all items needed for the armored car service are in order.
- Accountable for cash management in the office, including locking the safe when not in use.
- Maintain and execute the shoplifting protocol established by the company.
- Implement and adhere to the emergency coding system consistently.
- Activate Front End contingency plans as needed.
- In case of necessity, conduct a master reset or shift between master to sub-master operations.
- In charge of ensuring the accuracy and timely issuance of reports originating from the Front End of the establishment, such as check transmittals and soda machine reports.
- Monitor and facilitate the transfer of goods between stores.
- Organize an NSF record and ensure the accurate implementation of protocols for managing dishonored checks.
- Partner with departmental managers to observe the Front End procedures.
- Perform a weekly audit to verify the consistency of void card information.
- Comply with the requirements set by the USA Patriot Act and Bank Secrecy Act in relation to Redner's Markets' anti-money laundering measures.
- Observe and respect all company policies detailed in the Employee Handbook.
- Take charge of, examine, and channel phone communications effectively.
- Conduct transactions at the register and pack items into bags when requested.
- Organize the purchasing and supervision of office resources from the main office.
- Organize routine checker appraisals.
- Scrutinize and point out the reviewer assessment to illustrate pass/fail results.
