Job Summary of Pharmacy Operations Crew:

The target is to coordinate and supervise pharmacy and DMEPOS operations to regulate expenses, uphold anticipated profit margins, surpass sales objectives, provide a pleasant patient experience, and establish positive working conditions for the team. Responsibilities involve formulating, mixing, and compounding prescriptions for patients, as well as offering consultations when necessary

Responsibilities of Pharmacy Operations Crew:

• Implements measures to ensure the department's operations are in line with the company's guidelines
• Examining the department's strategic plotting, business blueprint, assessments, and service spectrum to achieve uninterrupted development and financial stability
• Manages the evaluation and control of pharmacy performance in order to ensure ongoing growth and financial security
• Confirming compliance with pharmacy standards to strengthen the recognition of the facility, leading to the continued acceptance and retention of facilities
• Needs to carry out the complete sales process, possess knowledge of and be able to comprehensively describe the pharmacy's medication dispensing systems, and conduct training for facility staff on location
• Administers the establishment and supervision of an inventory management system
• Modifies merchandising procedures to comply with the inventory control system's standards
• Keeping a close eye on returns and obsolescence is key
• Operates or scrutinizes competitive pricing techniques
• Setting new prices after evaluating monthly gross margins
• Oversees and adjusts departmental buying and ordering processes to improve inventory control, turnover rates, and operational productivity
• Watch over and be well-informed about the billing of resident and facility accounts
• Establishes and supervises strategies for ongoing development and growth, making alterations as needed on a quarterly basis
• Consistently assesses department timetables and adjusts them in accordance with facility filling needs and shipment schedules
• Monitors and manages overtime usage
• Assesses departmental practices to ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, maintaining organizational effectiveness and boosting employee morale
• Assesses all funds spent and applies modifications to enhance cash flow organization
• Ensuring the continuity of safe working conditions is a top priority
• Offers safety training sessions while monitoring the enforcement of safety guidelines
• Reviews safety reports to make alterations that optimize safety performance
• Manages or oversees departmental personnel responsibilities in alignment with company guidelines
• Fosters opportunities for the advancement and development of team members
• Epitomizes a standard of personal integrity, attire, and ethical business practices which establishes a norm for the department's personnel
