Job Summary of Maintenance Worker:

This position is accountable for ensuring the store remains clean and orderly, contributing to a safe and welcoming shopping atmosphere. Responsibilities involve tasks like floor cleaning, trash removal, and upkeep of employee facilities like break rooms and storage spaces. A key requirement for this role is a strong sense of responsibility and meticulous attention to detail to maintain the store's cleanliness and overall aesthetic.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Maintenance Worker:

• Sweep, mop, and apply wax to keep floors clean and in good condition.
• Clean up and eliminate trash from specified spots across the store.
• Regularly disinfect restrooms, breakrooms, and shared workspaces to prevent the spread of germs.
• Maintaining cleanliness is crucial for the back rooms, storage locations, and entryways.
• Respond promptly and securely to spills and other immediate cleaning demands.
• Assist in the organization or dismantling of store fixtures and equipment as requested.
• Provide assistance to other teams through general maintenance and housekeeping duties.

Qualifications and Experience of Maintenance Worker:

• Having previous janitorial or maintenance experience is advantageous, though not essential.
• Competence in safely using cleaning equipment and tools.
• Strong emphasis on precision and a firm dedication to ensuring the store remains tidy.
• Displaying the skill to work on one's own and follow the established protocols of the store.
• Preparedness to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
