Produce Specialist

An opportunity has arisen at Whole Foods Market for the position of a Produce Team Member within our Fresh Produce team. Joining this role entails assisting in the creation of an attractive and high-caliber shopping experience for our clients, all while contributing to the overall triumph of the store. Your efforts will play a crucial part in upholding the freshness, structure, and exhibition of our produce department.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Produce Specialist, you will support the department's daily operations by maintaining produce displays, ensuring product freshness, and providing outstanding customer service.

• Ensure the produce cases and shelves are clean, organized, and have adequate stock.
• Ensure that products are front-facing, review expiry dates, and discard any items that have gone past their expiration date to uphold product freshness.
• Support the Team Leader in effectively organizing and exhibiting seasonal and high-demand produce.
• Join forces with team members to ensure top-notch customer service is delivered in the produce department.
• Assist in reaching departmental targets and bolster the store's overall performance.

Required Skills and Experience:

• A deep love for fresh ingredients and a promise to offer customers top-notch produce.
• Showing a keen eye for specifics and proficiency in keeping the work area neat and organized.
• Emphasis on working together as a team, supported by excellent communication abilities.
• Muscular strength to carry out tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for prolonged periods.
• Experience in retail or produce roles is preferred, though not mandatory.
