Job Summary of Meat Wrapper:

This role is responsible for selecting the best cuts of meat for customers, stocking and maintaining display cases, and assisting the meat cutters in weighing, preparing, labeling, and packaging products. The role requires attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products to customers.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Meat Wrapper:

• Select the best cuts of meat and ensure proper presentation for customers.
• Stock and maintain display cases, ensuring products are well-organized and visible.
• Assist meat cutters in weighing, preparing, labeling, and packaging meat products.
• Provide excellent customer service by helping customers find the cuts of meat they need.
• Monitor inventory levels and restock items as needed to maintain product availability.
• Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Assist with other store duties as required based on operational needs.

Qualifications and Experience of Meat Wrapper:

• Previous experience in a meat department or retail environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on delivering a positive experience.
• Basic math skills for accurate weighing and pricing of products.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high product quality standards.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
