Role and Responsibilities of Perishable Clerk:
In the role of a Perishable Clerk, your primary focus will be on meeting quality benchmarks, offering exceptional customer care, and aiding in the increase of sales volume while decreasing losses. Your tasks will involve establishing a positive shopping ambiance, following corporate guidelines, and ensuring conformity with food safety protocols.

Keep a consistent supply of items in the meat, cold cuts, frozen foods, milk, and frozen dessert categories.

Package, mark, measure, and organize meat as required.
It is important to assemble, dismantle, and sanitize grinders as necessary.
Maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation within the department, while also adhering to layout and assortment guidelines.
Ensure that advertising and promotional materials meet compliance standards.
Comply with all directives, rules, and established protocols of Food Lion.
Abide by the established guidelines concerning the safety of both food and workplace environments.
Recognize, fix, and notify the Manager about any unsafe conditions.
