In the role of the Frozen Department Clerk, the individual assists the Dairy/Frozen Manager in ensuring the Dairy/Frozen department operates successfully and profitably. Responsibilities include stocking, rotating, and managing products in the dairy and frozen departments to maintain freshness, availability, and visual attractiveness. Tasks involve receiving deliveries, checking expiry dates, organizing displays, and ensuring accurate pricing and labeling.

- Aiding in the management of orders for the dairy and frozen departments, while also maintaining precise inventory levels.
- Providing support to department managers in the management of margin, COGs, and departmental profitability, with an emphasis on minimizing shrinkage and optimizing purchasing efficiency.
- Ensuring that the conditions of all in-stock items comply with the company's expectations.
- Managing special requests and maintaining communication regarding them.

Qualifications of Frozen Department Clerk:

- Ideally, applicants will have spent at least a year working in a grocery or retail setting, with a preference for those with knowledge of natural foods.
- Previous year of supervisory experience is advantageous.
- Obtaining the necessary qualifications in food safety training programs and certifications as dictated by law and adhering to regulations by maintaining up-to-date certifications with proper registration when applicable.
