Role and Responsibilities:

The Deli Associate is responsible for building customer loyalty by providing exceptional service in the deli department. Key responsibilities include:

• Customer Service: Greet, assist, and thank customers promptly and courteously, providing continuous attention to customer needs.
• Product Knowledge: Offer product suggestions and demonstrate knowledge of deli offerings.
• Stocking & Rotation: Stock and rotate products to ensure freshness and proper date control; efficiently use supply items to minimize waste and costs.
• Equipment Operation: Operate deli equipment and tools safely and effectively.
• Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area; report faulty equipment and hazards to management immediately.
• Reporting Issues: Notify management of theft, shoplifting, unauthorized markdowns, property defacement, or any violations of company policy.
• Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
• Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
