Fiesta Mart Crew Member

Job Summary:

As a Crew Member Packager in our Commissary Department, you'll play a crucial role in preparing, packaging, and labeling fresh bakery products for distribution. From baking to boxing, you'll be responsible for ensuring every item meets quality and safety standards before reaching store shelves. This hands-on position requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to food safety in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate bakery packaging equipment; set up and adjust machines as needed.
• Pick up and package frozen dough products from the production line.
• Proof, bake, and finish baked goods including donuts and cakes.
• Apply glazes or toppings and ensure accurate product labeling.
• Sort and pack products according to store orders and specifications.
• Maintain accurate inventory and report discrepancies to supervisors.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation for packaging and inventory tracking.
• Follow all sanitation and safety procedures; clean workstations after each shift.
• Collaborate with team members to meet packaging quotas and deadlines.
• Adhere to company policies and maintain a professional, hygienic appearance.

Qualifications and Experience:

Required:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Comfortable operating manual and electric pallet jacks.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions, both written and verbal.
• Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred:

• Experience in a food production or packaging facility.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and labeling protocols.
• Strong teamwork and time management skills.
• Physical and Safety Requirements:
  Frequently/Continuously: Standing, walking, lifting, bending, crouching, reaching, pushing/pulling up to 150 lbs.

Occasionally:

• Exposure to loud noise, fumes, slippery floors, and sharp objects.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced commissary setting with mechanical equipment and temperature-controlled environments.

Salary:

Hourly Pay: $14.50 $17.00, based on experience and shift availability
