This person assists in leading the team, upholds guidelines for food presentation, and supports the Store Manager in creating a positive experience for guests and team members that aligns with company values.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Kitchen Utility Worker:
- Offer a friendly salutation to visitors to create a welcoming space.
- Regulate the supervision of food stock levels, expenses, wastage, meal preparation, and visual representation.
- Maintain a clean environment in the food service area and comply with sanitation regulations.
- Reach set goals for food sales, encompassing pizza, breakfast selections, and drinks.
- Provide training and guidance to team members regarding food handling and safety protocols.
- Engage in cooperation with external vendors for the supervision and education on food safety standards.
- Manage stock quantities and rotate food supplies accordingly.
- Deliver top-notch customer service while efficiently conducting guest transactions.
- Assist the Store Manager or Guest Service Leader with any additional tasks that are assigned.
Qualifications and Experience of Kitchen Utility Worker:
- Candidates must have a GED or high school diploma as a qualification.
- A minimum of half a year in retail or food service roles is mandatory for all applicants.
- Retail, service, or restaurant experience of one year is a plus.
- Although advantageous, possessing a ServSafe certification is not compulsory.
- Proficient in building rapport with visitors and team members during interactions.
- Exhibiting a vibrant attitude, nimbleness in adjusting, and a cohesive teamwork mindset.
